The few that do require you to pay for it.
POPULATION EXPLOSION: California has experienced a population explosion for the last 20 years and all indications are for this rapid growth to continue. Land values have doubled in the last few years and most investors expect another doubling of prices of the next few years.
INVESTMENT: Land is widely known as an excellent investment. Large acreage is getting harder to find at these great prices. Some economists theorize that in the not so distance future large land ownership will be only for the very wealthy.
ACCESS: You can fly into Reno, NV very affordably from anywhere in the US. From there, simply drive to Ravendale. Property only 2 miles from the center of the town of Ravendale.
POWER: There are power lines running to a house across the street. Always check prior to buying land about the availability of electricity.
VALUE: Do you homework. Check with some local California realtors and ask them what 160 acre parcels are worth in the area. If they even know of any available.
WILDLIFE: While visiting the property we say many signs of wildlife. I saw many deer tracks on the property. I also saw many rabbits and a coyote.
ROADS: Highway 395 is 2 miles from the property. There is a nice paved road (CR 502)to the South of this property. County Road 305 (very nice and county maintained) runs just to the West of this property. I also see (via satellite images) a road running on the property border on the East boundary of the property.
EAGLE LAKE: Eagle lake is the 2nd biggest lake in California and is only 19 miles South West of the property. It is an incredibly beautiful lake. We have provide some pictures of the lake toward the end of this auction copy. More Eagle Lake info

Lassen County is located about 15 miles NW of Reno. Forested plateaus, green mountain meadows, snow-capped peaks and a vast, open agricultural valley are part of Lassen County's 4,547 square miles, an area the size of Connecticut. A true outdoor wonderland, much of Lassen County is part of the large volcanic plateau that makes up much of northeast California. Lassen Volcanic National Park , the Lassen Scenic Byway, Eagle Lake and the Bizz Johnson Trail provide visitors with much to do.
The four full seasons and varied terrain provide a complete spectrum of recreational activities. In the mountainous western portion, summer camping, hiking, fishing, and water sports complement autumn hunting, winter skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling, and sledding, with spring giving a variety of nature watching opportunities.
Some portions of Lassen County include Lassen National Forest, Plumas National Forest and Modoc National Forest.
