Mountain View has a Wal-Mart and a theater. Another 30 minutes past that is the city of West Plains which is a pretty large city which has everything you'd ever need!
From the property, it is 11 miles to Clearwater Lake, 8 miles to Miller Lake, and 13 miles to Van Buren, Missouri which is the home of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways Headquarters! The surrounding area is very beautiful with gorgeous views, lush foliage, and large oak and pine trees.
The property also features wet weather creeks through the northern and southern sides of the property. They run for about half of the year from what we've seen. They don’t have water in them all the time but when they do, they are beautiful.
This property has been logged, as you can see in some of the photos, so there is some "firewood" laying around. This would be perfect for camping or heating your home! It was not clear cut; there are still plenty of large trees around. Just a little bit of work, and your lot can be even nicer than the surrounding national forest!
Access to the property is by maintained County Road 19-580 (you can see what the sign looks like in the photos, most maps refer to it as Old Tram Rd) and is only a mile or two from paved Highway 19 and is less than 10 miles to U.S. Highway 60. We have made a private unmaintained dirt road which takes you to each of the lots. I would recommend a truck or 4WD for this road.

18. IS THERE A PENALTY FOR PAYING OFF MY LAND EARLY?
There is absolutely no prepayment penalty. Your monthly payment is applied to your account balance using simple interest on the unpaid balance. Any and all extra monthly payments will be applied directly to the principal. All extra payments will directly lower your balance, reducing the overall interest you pay on your purchase.
