About Alabama
Two Kinds of Alabama Land
We sell land in two different parts of Alabama, and each has its own character. West Alabama is rolling hill country, with pine and hardwood timber, spring-fed creeks, and pasture worked for generations. Down in the Wiregrass Region of the southeast, the ground opens up into flatter, more open woods built for hunting. Both are owner financed the same way.
West Alabama Hill Country
West Alabama, Fayette and Lamar Counties, sits in rolling hill country in Alabama's northwest corner: pine and hardwood timber, spring-fed creeks, and pasture that's been worked for generations. Terrain rolls more here than it does further south, and power or water access varies tract to tract. Ask us about a specific parcel rather than assume either is at the road.
Right now that means Baker Creek in Fayette County: 6 tracts of 4.94 to 6.06 acres, from $41,900, about $422 a month. Willow Grove in Lamar County has 3 tracts available from $40,900.
Buyers come here for hunting camps, weekend getaways, and ground held quietly while it appreciates. Deer, turkey, and the occasional bear all call this country home. If you want flatter, more open hunting ground without the climb, the Wiregrass Region south of here is worth a look too.
The Wiregrass Region: Barbour County
Barbour County sits in Alabama's Wiregrass Region, flatter and more open than the hill country to the west, moderately wooded rather than densely timbered. Deer, turkey, and bear are all common, and hunting is the main reason most buyers come looking. Some tracts already have stands in place from a previous owner, which we'll tell you about plainly rather than let you find out on your own.
Everything in The Wiregrass Region is spoken for right now. New tracts come up as we open them. The newsletter is the first to hear.

Every tract we sell is owner financed. No bank, no loan committee deciding whether you're the right kind of buyer.
